Lahore, April 29 (IANS) Controversial fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has apologised to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), its chairman Nasim Ashraf, fellow cricketers and nation for his actions that hurt them.

Islamabad, April 30, (IANS) A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) panel Wednesday upheld the five-year ban on fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, but allowed the cricketer to play outside the country. Akhtar can now play for the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
